I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, and I have dedicated the past sixteen years of my life to working in the mental health field. My journey has been driven by a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate the complexities of mental health, and I am here to support you in that journey as well.
I specialize in mental health diagnosis and medication management for adults ages eighteen and older experiencing anxiety and depression. When you step into my office, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental environment where your treatment is centered around you. We'll work together to create a personalized plan that helps you achieve and maintain your optimal level of mental health, so you can live the life you desire.
During our first session, we'll start with a brief introduction and review your intake information. From there, we'll dive into the specific challenges you're facing and discuss the treatment modalities that best suit your needs. Together, we'll craft a treatment plan tailored just for you. With years of experience, I've learned that the most important factor in successful treatment is having a supportive provider who listens actively and provides a safe, non-judgmental space for you to grow and improve your mental health. Medication Management
Medication management is the process of selecting, prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting medications to ensure their safe and effective use, optimizing mental health outcomes.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
To help you get back to feeling like yourself, I use the treatment method of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help change misconceptions of thoughts to more productive and positive thinking. Technique that are utilized include social skills training, stress management and mindfulness.
Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
Interpersonal therapy is effective in the treatment of depression and mood disorders. Interpersonal therapy is used to help clients in the management of interpersonal deficits, difficult life transitions, unresolved grief, unfulfilling relationships.
